New Seasons

Spring is finally here and so much "new" abounds. The little guy turned a whopping six and is now reading books on his own. We spent his birthday afternoon over at the Galloping Ghost. How many kids have the opportunity to spend their birthday at the largest arcade in the world? I know kid me would never even imagine such a thing.

We also made it out to the Chicago Red Stars home opener game! Luckily the sun was out, so it wasn't too crazy cold. It feels like the Red Stars games are a hidden gem. The stadium is spotless and kept up, there's staff everywhere to help, the food is awesome, and the tickets are cheap. Oh, and Supernova the mascot is pretty rad as well.

On top of all of that, I'm working hard on improving my coffee skills. Sample roasting has been a blast and exciting things are underway. Next month I'll be at the SCA Expo in Chicago and hope to share more goodness in the coffee universe!
